Flexible Learning + Live Virtual + In Person
Self-paced online learning you complete on your schedule. Modules cover:

In-water training and shadow teaching with real students

Because the training is hands-on and mentorship-driven, we limit cohort size. This ensures each participant develops the confidence, judgement and professional standards required to teach independently and safely.
Admission is by application. Cohort 1 will accept five participants, all of whom must live within 100 miles of Montclair, NJ so that they can realistically participate in the in-water portion of the course.

Cohort 1 students must be able to attend in-water sessions in the Montclair, NJ area

Cohort 1 runs May-June 2026, combining online learning, live mentorship, and in-water training

20+ hours of self-paced online learning completed before in-water training
5 live virtual sessions (90 minutes each, 1 per week)
10-12 hours of in-water training and/or shadow teaching
Active participation throughout — this is not a passive or "watch-only" program
